Research, Contract and Grant Accounting
The project accounting section of Finance and Contracts is primarily responsible for the financial administration of research grants and contracts awarded to departments and faculty. Services provided include preparation of financial statements, claims, invoicing, advancing grant funds, calculation of overhead and charge-out rates where applicable, as required by the various departments.
The project accounting section audits spending on research funds to ensure compliance with both the granting agency's stipulations as well as with University Policy.
