This section of Finance and Contracts is responsible for developing and maintaining the annual budget process, budget allocations and monitoring the budget. This section processes all budget transactions including permanent and one time transfers and the preparation of the budget submission to the Vice-President. This section of Finance and Contracts is also responsible for the financial reporting and integrity of information in the Banner Finance accounting system.

Functions include:

• Maintenance of the Chart of Accounts including all aspects of the "FOAPAL"
• Coordination of reconciliations of the Chart of Accounts
• Maintenance of the Fixed Assets
• Coordination and preparation of the annual Financial Analysis Report
• Government financial reporting
• Providing assistance with departmental internal reporting requirements
• Assistance with understanding and reading various financial reports
• Scholarship and Endowment reporting requirements
